Travelling technology for easier life

It's summer timeeee! Time for vacation, sea side, parties, short clothes, amazing memories and much more! :)
My official vacation starts on 5th of August and on 9th I'm travelling to beautiful Makarska in the southeast Croatia.

And so the man created technology, and God bless the technology, cos it makes the life so much easier for all of us. Throw away all your notebooks, post-its, and all these to-do lists, because the technology has given us a new way of life! Check out the list of inevitable apps for your summer trip!

This great application is available both for your desktop PC, laptop, and your smartphones and tablets. Most easiest way of adding tasks on your list and you get to experience the pleasure of ticking the task done with a really nice 'Ding'!
2. Tripit
Even though the app is not free for use, you can give it a go by trying out the free 30-day trial on your next trip. Tripit is not like these annoying, standard apps, recommending stuff and shoving down random places and cities in your face. Tripit actually allows you to combine all of your tickets, bookings, confirmations and reservations in one place and it even gives you a hint when there's a betters seat on your plane! :)
TripAdvisor is really omnipresent since ever. It has the biggest base of hotels, cultural sights, restaurants, bars, pretty much everything you need on your trip. Although it is not my personal favorite (only because of ugly-ish interface) I have to give it a credit and credit to all of the travellers who gave their reviews and help day by day to other travelers to decide on their pick.
I know, I know, you're on your vacation, you want to show it off to everybody on Facebook, but keep in mind you might actually get blocked / unfollowed / unfrieded because of spamming. You have few of the pictures you'd like to upload? Use Pic Collage and get them together in one!
Crossing the border? Show off your skills and preparation, learn a few phrases for getting around the city with phrases that are actually being used in a local dialect. If you're not that much of a mathematician, use XE Currency to always convert local currency into your currency.
6. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat
No need to say why, right? Let them know you're enjoying and having a blast!

I already filled my Wunderlist with all of to-do items and looked up the sights on TripAdvisor! I'm not going out of the country (even though Dalmatia seems like another country) so I'll try to manage with my own native language!

I honestly hope you're having a good summer and you had a chance to catch some vacation time for yourself. Share your thoughts on this list and give me your recommendations!

I do use tripadvisor a lot as its so quick & easy. However the best way to see things is to ask the locals about the lesser known & probably more interesting things.

I fully agree! Best way to get around the place is to find your self a local to be your "guide". :)

TripAdvisor is a great app to download whenever you travel. It's so easy to use and what I love most about it is that there's a growing community sharing their reviews and experiences so you get to read more.

Agreed on that! I was so surprised that the community of TripAdvisor has reviews of small places that aren't so tourist attractive!

Thanks for sharing this great compilation of these lists. One phrase I adore from this post is ''Man created technology and God blesses the technology.''

Thanks for reading! However, one must be careful with technology consumption, not to overuse it!

I couldn't agree more of the applications you have mentioned. anyone who loves to travel sure is guilty of using those. :)

Agreed! :D

My personal favourite is Wunderlist cos I'm a huge fan of TO-DO lists, so I guess I can always fit anything on a simple TO-DO :D

What's your favourite?
